GMIS
Grounds Maintenance Information System
The GMIS system, developed in conjunction with our Local Government
clients, uses Microsoft Access and MapInfo Professional to aid in
the storage, management, recall, analysis and display of Grounds Maintenance
information. Standard reports and Bills of Quantity are produced from
the Access database which can easily be enhanced by the user for specific
or ad-hoc reports whilst the mapping is held in MapInfo for geographical
storage, manipulation and output. The data is an open format which
may be exported to third party software packages.
Access to the multi-user GMIS system is fully protected by a self
contained password system that works in addition to any network imposed
security restrictions.
"Our experience with CDR Group has proved them to be highly
professional and competent in the development of bespoke MapInfo-Access
solutions to Local Government needs."
Simon Seal, Leisure Development Officer, North Lincolnshire Council
